1. What SCOPE.vet is (and isn't)
SCOPE.vet is an informational triage tool that helps pet owners work out whether their dog or cat needs veterinary care, and how urgently. It is not a medical device, a veterinary practice, or a substitute for in-person veterinary care. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or recommend prescription medicines. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment.
2. Emergencies
If your pet is collapsed, having a seizure, struggling to breathe, has pale or blue gums, has ingested a known toxin, a male cat is straining to urinate, a large-breed dog has a bloated abdomen, or is bleeding heavily, go to a vet or emergency clinic immediately. Do not wait to use SCOPE.
3. Accuracy and limitations
SCOPE uses AI to generate triage guidance. Guidance may be incomplete, wrong, or inappropriate for your individual pet. Use your judgement. When in doubt, see a vet.
4. Age requirement
You must be 18 or older to use SCOPE.
5. Affiliate disclosure

6. No warranty
SCOPE is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any decisions you make based on SCOPE output.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for 30 days.
